These homeowners always have great ideas for new beds and plants for their many projects on their 5 properties which I maintain!

The homeowners added their own special touch, including Neptune and a firepit in their seating area to complete their at-home retreat to relax in, steps from their home, with family and friends.

For this project: Initial discussions with the homeowners began with replacing their landscaping around their home.  The existing plant material was healthy, large and no longer fit the area.  If possible, I am always wanting to reuse plant material.

The family has a beautiful view of their lake from their home.  A large area of the slope was unfinished, high maintenance and sitting right in front of their beautiful lake.  It looked like a new room and extension of their home to me.  I suggested creating a seating area surrounded by a stone wall made from the fieldstone on the property.  I wanted to give this customer a flowering bed with continual bloom, minimal maintenance and an abundance of color to enjoy from spring to late fall.  The transplants that came from around the house grew in so well that they covered the slope and there are almost no weeds, ever.​
